Wedding Album...
a success!
I delivered a beautiful wedding album to a couple this week. I was so in love with the brown alligator leather cover that I HAD to document... photographically of course!
this style of press printed, flush-mount album, is also what we print when our boudoir clients order their "Little Black Books!"
So far these beauties have been ordered and enjoyed in many households around SD.
More importantly, quite a few of them have been successfully shipped overseas to loved ones.
Now if that doesn't boost morale... I'm not sure what will!

On Boudoir sessions...
some ladies are apprehensive to have their picture taken and "take it all off" so to speak...
but I like to provide examples that prove you can be fully clothed and accomplish the same thing..
a beautiful classy photo, that you and your loved one can treasure for a lifetime...
and for all of you rolling your eyes at my aforementioned blurb about treasuring for a lifetime...
just you wait! You'll be turning 65 and you'll pull out your old dusty album and thank the heavens you booked a session with me in your younger years !!!!

Keeping Up with the Kardashians?!!

A good friend and favorite model of mine, Alicia ( holla! ), called me this morning to inform me that she saw one of those Kardashian girls, Kim, Kourtney something with a K, I don't know, was on the cover of LA Confidential wearing MY suit!
Not only a purchase for my own personal collection of fabulously fashionable items but the suit that I used for a beach swimwear shoot with Alicia MONTHS ago. We are very fashion forward over at Tatum Kathleen Photography.
Sadly, I will tuck my suit away and not be seen amongst the masses that will inevitably purchase and be wearing SAID suit. On the up side of things, I am reaffirmed that I have great style, and am further confused as to whether I would rather be a photographer or a stylist. Thanks to Bravo TV's Double Exposure & Rachel Zoe Project, I will continue to be torn between the two.
Maybe I would be a little less bitter if LA Confidential had hired me to take the photos! haha clearly I am just as capable. & I enjoy the amo case and scattered bullets in my pics better anyway :)
